Bath: Sacred Heart plans July 10, 11 picnic
Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 210 E. Northampton St., will be having its annual parish picnic 5-10 p.m. July 10 and 11.
Musical entertainment will feature Still Kickin’ July 10 and then Flirtin’ with the Mob July 11. There will be Mon and Mel’s Sweet Scoops and Geaker’s Tacos food trucks, as well as all your favorite foods including clams, sweet corn, hamburgers, barbecue, pierogies, cabbage and noodles, sausages, beer, baked goods and more. Kids’ games, bounce houses, cash prize tickets and bingo are all on the agenda.
There will be a tricky tray and yard sale 4-10 p.m. July 10, 5-10 p.m. July 11 and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 12.

Salem United Church of Christ, 2218 Community Drive, will be having a blueberry festival 3-8 p.m. July 11 in the grove. Bring lawn chairs.
There will be food, games, raffles, bingo and a cake walk. Entertainment will be provided by Steel Creek.

The Bath free market will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 11 at Ciff Cowling Field, 301 Allen St.

Bath Area Food Bank will be distributing food July 14, starting around 9:30 a.m., on the lower level at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 206 E. Main St. Do not arrive before 9:30 a.m. due to safety reasons.

Bath Lions Club will meet 6:30 p.m. July 15 at My Place Pizza, 270 E. Northampton St. Guests and new members are always welcome to the meetings the first and third Wednesdays of each month.

The Bath Museum, 121 S. Walnut St., will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 18.

Governor Wolf Historical Society, 6600 Jacksonville Road, will be open 1-3 p.m. July 18 for tours of the historic buildings, grounds and new museum.

During the month of July, Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, will help Bath Area Food Bank by collecting cleaning supplies, paper products and canned vegetables. There is a special need for elbow macaroni, peanut butter and canned tomatoes or sauce.
Donations for the food bank can be dropped off in the bins in the fellowship hall or the upstairs gathering area.
Bath Area Food Bank is always in need of monetary donations and gift cards, preferably Ahart’s.
