Heat waves suck. So do bruised ribs. I fell and bruised a rib or two on my right side. The same side with the limp (improving) and the hand that won’t open (getting physical therapy for that).

We have air conditioners in the bedrooms only. Having just paid PPL, I think it will stay that way. So, I work in my room. Then I bump the rib, and my concentration fails. The bruise is getting better, except when I move directly on it.

I am working a summer program, happily as a teacher. We are still waiting on the school paperwork for my youngest son.

What did arrive in the mail was more about my late mother’s estate. I passed the info to the executrix. I guess I’ll hear back eventually.

I was a bit surprised by the mail, but a friend told me that it isn’t unusual. I just wish mom had written down a list of her accounts. I’ve given my daughter and older son my info, so hopefully a long time from now, this won’t be such a problem for them.

My younger son will be with Dad for the weekend, and I will have 48 hours to myself. It will be weird, but I have plenty to do.

During the heat wave, I had a tooth filling done. It was not an ideal time for it, but when is? I had been happy when the prior appointment was canceled though, because it had been one more thing in an already busy week.

My older son and I are hoping to vacation with younger son in August, if we can figure out the days. He works two jobs. I work one in the first two weeks, then back to two again. So, we have a limited window. Still, I hope we can work it out.

Do you ever feel like life has too many moving parts? I sure do.
