Eastern Salisbury Fire Department to host community yard sale July 11

Looking for things to do this summer?
The Salisbury Township 2026 Summer Playground Program continues through July 24. It runs 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday and Wednesday evenings 6:30 to 8 p.m. Programs are held at Laubach and Lindberg parks.
The playground program is open to all Salisbury Township students from first grade through 12 years old. Visit the township website for additional details.
If you, or someone you know, face food insecurities for children this summer, please know there are resources available to you.
SunBucks offers a food benefit if you qualify. Call 1-877-762-1575 or visit dhs.pa.gov/sunbucks to determine eligibility.
Lehigh Valley Health Network also offers free summertime meals 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday from its 17th Street, Allentown, location on the first floor.
St. Luke’s University Health Network also offers free summer meals Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at its Sigal Center, 450 W. Chew St., Allentown.
ArtsQuest is again hosting the Free Family Movie Series at the Levitt Pavilion, SteelStacks, Bethlehem. The next movie screening is scheduled 6:30 p.m. July 8. “The Lion King” (1994) is the featured film. “Aladdin” (1992) is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. July 15. These screenings are weather permitting and may be relocated or canceled. If planning to go, check social media pages on Facebook and Instagram for the most up-to-date information.
Eastern Salisbury Fire Department will host a community yard sale 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. July 11. Setup starts at 7 a.m. They are looking for community members to join them. There is a cost to reserve a spot. Spaces are limited. For information and/or to register, call/text Sarah at 484-239-3426.
The township’s recycling centers are again open for collection of yard waste and branches.
Devonshire will be open June 25 and 27 and Franko Farm will be open June 29 and July 2. The recycle centers will be closed July 4 for Independence Day. Hours continue to be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.
