Whitehall Township Public Library: Whitehall library to hold summer book sale June 26, 27
The book sale at Whitehall Township Public Library is scheduled for 9 a.m.-3 p.m. June 26 and 27.
There will be a bag sale noon-3 p.m. June 27. Patrons must use the paper grocery bags provided for the bag sale.

An adult stretch and soothe chair class is set for 10:30 a.m. July 1. This wellness class combines gentle chair-based stretching, mindful movement, breath work and relaxation.

Everyday Skills for Teens: Stress Management is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. July 1. Lehigh Valley Health Network shares stress and mindfulness tools for teenagers as they navigate school, jobs and more. This program is for teens in grades 6-12.

The Dino-rarium program allows children in grades 4-6 to make their own dinosaur habitat. It is set for 6 p.m. July 1.

A Colonial craft will be held 6 p.m. July 2 for adults. Celebrate the 250th anniversary of the USA by making your own fabric sachet.

Join Jim Ward 6 p.m. July 6 for The Declaration of Independence: Birth of a Nation program. Step back to 1776 and explore the bold ideas, powerful words and daring actions that shaped America’s founding.
Ward will examine the events leading to the Declaration of Independence, the document’s revolutionary principles and its lasting impact on history.
This program will be held on Zoom.

A book discussion about “Dinosaurs Before Dark” will be held 6 p.m. July 8 for kids in grades 3-6.

Teen night is set for 4 p.m. July 10. Our teenaged patrons can stay late after the library closes to the public to enjoy food, games and fun!

The summer reading program — Unearth a Story — has begun. All ages can participate in our reading incentive program. Sign up, track your reading and earn great prizes!

Summer storytimes run the month of July. Tuesdays is Babies and Books 11 a.m. for ages 0-1 year and kids storytime 1:30 p.m. for ages 3-8. Toddler storytime is 10 a.m. Thursdays.

Renovations are still ongoing as crews work to make the library more accessible. Staff will try to keep the building open as much as possible, but there may be some schedule changes when necessary.
