Around 6:15 p.m. on Feb. 19, police were called to a wrong-way crash that occurred at Route 100 between Beachwood Street and Wertman Road.

The investigation revealed that a pickup truck driven by Krum was traveling southbound when he crossed the double-yellow line and struck another vehicle head on.

Fletcher died from multiple blunt force trauma due to motor vehicle collision and his death was ruled accidental by the Lehigh County Coroner.

The investigation revealed that Krum had been driving erratically before the crash.

Krum’s blood alcohol content shortly after the crash was 0.195 percent.

As police were investigating the fatal crash, they were alerted about a hit-and-run crash that occurred just a short time prior.

Krum’s truck damaged a vehicle also traveling on Route 100 southbound. Krum did not stop for that collision.
