Lane Schultz will present the program “Rock, Ice, Dirt” at the meeting of the Upper Milford Historical Society 7 p.m. at the Upper Milford Township municipal building, 5671 Chestnut St. Schultz will talk about the geology of Lehigh County. All are welcome.

Salisbury Night at the IronPigs starts 6:45 p.m. A fireworks display will follow the game. For information, call 484-661-5814.
Wildlands Conservancy will host a Stream Team event 8-11 a.m. at Emmaus Community Park and Berger Street, Emmaus. Volunteers help maintain vegetative areas along streams and help ensure survival of young, native trees in the forest buffer to help improve water quality, reduce erosion and flooding concerns and provide habitat for wildlife. Volunteer duties include helping maintain tubes placed over the trees to protect the trees from deer and removing invasive vegetation. Stream Team events are held rain or shine. Upper Milford Western District Fire Company will host a chicken barbecue fundraiser. Pickup for dinners is noon to 4 p.m. at the fire station, 6341 Chestnut St., Zionsville. Dinner includes one-half a Kauffman’s barbecued chicken, baked potato, applesauce and roll. Dinners will be available until sold out. There is a cost for tickets. The Emmaus Garden Club Garden Tour, featuring eight beautiful and unique gardens, will be held 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine. There is a cost for tickets. Tickets are available for purchase at Kospia Farms, Alburtis; Dan Schantz Greenhouse and Farm Market, Lehigh Home and Garden Center and Phoebe Floral & Home Decor, all in Allentown; Tilley’s Garden Center, Coopersburg; Herbein’s Garden Center and Royal Furniture, both in Emmaus and Eagle Point Farm Market, Trexlertown.
The Emmaus Historical Society will present a unique film sharing the stories and history that shaped the Emmaus Triangle. The documentary, titled “Emmaus Triangle History, 1759 to 2025” will be shown at the Emmaus Theatre noon to 1 p.m. and 1:15-2:15 p.m. There is a cost for tickets. The theater’s snack bar will be open.
Let’s Go Coffee will offer Historic Emmaus Walking Tours 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Emmaus Historical Society. This walking tour will start at the Emmaus Theatre, 19 S. Fourth St. and include a history of the Emmaus Theatre, the Triangle, Main Street, South Mountain, God’s Acre, Emmaus Moravian Church and the Emmaus Historical Society. There is a cost for tickets, which includes a sweet treat and a cup of coffee. Tours will be weather dependent.
Macungie Memoral Park, Poplar Street, Macungie, will host the Hello Summer Craft Fair 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
A cruise night is scheduled 2 p.m. at Macungie Memorial Park. Vehicles will start arriving 2 p.m. and the music begins 4 p.m. Refreshments will be available. For information, call 610-966-4289.

The 80th annual Dillingersville Pilgrimage outdoor church service will be held 10:30 a.m. under a large tent on the grounds of the Dillingersville stone schoolhouse, 7226 School House Lane, Zionsville. A picnic lunch and a performance by the jazz fusion band “John and Calvin” are among event highlights.
June 30
Hivel Und Dahl Preservation Society will host the program “General Washington’s Command Staff in Montgomery County — 1777” 7 p.m. at the Upper Milford Township municipal building, 5671 Chestnut St., Emmaus. The program will highlight Washington’s staff during his stay in Montgomery County. The program will give insight into the military and civilian staff as well as enslaved people who were part of Washington’s entourage.
July 4
Macungie Memorial Park, Poplar Street, Macungie, hosts Independence Day with a variety of events 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Highlights will include a kids parade 10 a.m. featuring decorated bikes, strollers and wagons; a duck race 11 a.m.; a concert by the Macungie Band starting 11:30 a.m. and bounce houses, face painting, a cake walk and more.
July 24-26
The Borough of Emmaus, Emmaus Main Street Partners, the Emmaus Historical Alliance and numerous other local groups, will host the Emmaus 250 Celebration along streets, at historic sites, parks and in public gathering spaces throughout the borough. The annual Emmaus Heritage Festival at historic sites, music performances, children’s activities and attractions, a car show, food trucks, a drone and light show at Emmaus High School and an ecumenical worship service are among expected highlights. Sept. 23
The Emmaus Garden Club will travel to the New York Botanical Gardens. There is a cost for tickets and the reservation deadline is Aug. 23. The 250-acre NYBG is located in The Bronx and is a national historic landmark. Trip highlights will include the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory, rose gardens, water features and New York City’s only fresh water river. A 30-minute narrated tram tour also will be available to visitors.
