Central Catholic school years ends with flurry of activities
The 2025-2026 school year at Central Catholic has come to an end, but the hustle doesn’t stop over the summer, with many activities and events still ahead for our students.
On Monday, May 18, our seniors celebrated their last week of school with a senior breakfast hosted by our Junior Student Council.
The Academic, Activities, and Arts Awards were also held on May 18. Students, coaches, and advisers were honored for their time, commitment, and accomplishments throughout the school year.
Members of our National Honor Society beautified our school campus ahead of our 2026 graduation.
Congratulations to our ACCHS students and Coach Bob for completing the fall and spring rowing seasons with Lehigh University Juniors Rowing.
The Class of 2026 celebrated graduation on May 29. Congratulations to all our graduates on reaching this milestone!
The Matthew J. Spade Annual Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Sept. 12, at Green Pond Country Club, Bethlehem. Each year, the Spade family organizes the tournament to honor Matthew’s memory and raise funds for scholarships. The Matthew J. Spade Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to exceptional incoming freshmen from each of Allentown Central Catholics’ partner schools.
Students from across the Diocese of Allentown were recognized during the annual Bishop’s Catholic Scholar Society Awards held at the Alumni Center of Notre Dame High School, Easton. These scholarships help support students as they continue their Catholic education at both the high school and collegiate levels. Congratulations to ACCHS Class of 2026 graduates Theresa Yozzi and Andre DaSilva on this outstanding achievement.
On June 2, members of our Central City Project planted tomato plants, hot pepper plants, and seeds at the Amy Sullivan Memorial Urban Garden and STM Greenhouse.
As the school year concludes, the Allentown Central Catholic family extends our deepest gratitude to Father Mass and Sister Mathilde. Thank you both for your unwavering dedication, kindness, and leadership. The impact you both have had on the Allentown Central Catholic community will remain with us for years to come.
