Charcuterie board workshop set for June 20

Anyone interested in learning about fun and nutritious entertaining ideas can get advice from Penn State Extension educators during the workshop “Let’s Cook Charcuterie Boards” June 20.

The workshop will be held 6-8 p.m. at Good Shepherd, 4201 Stoudts Ferry Bridge Road, Reading. Space is limited. Registration continues through June 16.

The workshop will be led by educators from the food, families and health unit at Penn State.

The workshop will cover:

— The basic components of a charcuterie board.

— Tips and recipe ideas to create a healthy charcuterie board for entertaining.

— Ideas for making a charcuterie board a healthful addition to any meal spread.
