Northampton police

Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.

APRIL 15

A hit and run in the 1600 block of Railroad Street was reported. The rear driver side of a legally parked vehicle was damaged.

In the 600 block of Main Street, officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute.

Traffic stops were conducted in the unit, 1400 and 2300 blocks of Main Street; at Canal and West 10th streets; at Laubach Avenue and Main Street; in the unit block of West 21st Street; and at Stewart and Canal streets.

Officers responded to a neighbor complaint in the 2300 block of Dewey Avenue.

APRIL 16

Police checked on the welfare of males in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue and the 2300 block of Dewey Avenue.

A phone scam/fraud in the 500 block of Buckingham Drive was reported.

Traffic stops were conducted at Northampton Avenue and East 21st Street, in the unit block of West 21st Street, at West 21st and Canal streets, on Ninth Street and in the 600 block of East 21st Street.

A reportable accident involved two vehicles in the 1300 block of Main Street.

Officers assisted a male at Main Street and Almond Alley.

Criminal mischief — coffee thrown on a legally parked vehicle — in the 700 block of East 18th Street was reported.

APRIL 17

Reports of juvenile problems were investigated at Canal and West 14th streets and in the 2100 block of Hokendauqua Avenue.

A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 block of Howertown Road.

Loud music in the 1400 block of Main Street was reported.

APRIL 18

The department received a report of a hit and run at West 21st and Main streets. A blue Ford pickup truck rear-ended the back of a white Honda HRV. The offending vehicle left the scene traveling east on East 21st Street.

Officers assisted a female in the 900 block of Main Street.

Traffic stops were conducted in the 600 block of East 21st Street, at East 21st and Mill streets and on West Ninth Street.

A report of a domestic dispute in the 1000 block of Canal Street was handled.

APRIL 18

A report of a suspicious male in the unit block of West 21st Street was investigated.

In the 1200 block of Main Street, a report of a domestic dispute had police at the scene.

APRIL 19

A neighbor complaint was handled in the 2100 block of Main Street.

Police checked the area in the 2600 block of Main Street.

Officers assisted a female in the 2000 block of Center Street.

APRIL 20

Police checked on the welfare of a female in the 100 block of Howertown Road.

A reportable accident at Howertown Road and East Fourth Street involved two vehicles.

An unwanted male and female in the 1200 block of Main Street was reported.

APRIL 21

Officers checked on the welfare of a male in the 2300 block of Dewey Avenue.

Traffic stops were conducted in the 1500 block of Main Street, the unit block of West 21st Street and at West 21st and Canal streets.

Police assisted a male in the 300 block of Bendelow Lane.

A report of an unattended death in the 400 block of Main Street was investigated.

APRIL 22

A domestic dispute in the 900 block of Main Street was reported.

Officers checked on the welfare of females in the 300 block of East 10th Street and the 800 block of Main Street.

An unwanted male in the 500 block of Apple Street was reported.

Officers responded to reports of juvenile problems at West 14th and Stewart streets, in the 1600 block of Main Street and the 100 block of West 25th Street.

Traffic stops were conducted in the 2000 block of Main Street and the unit block of West 21st Street.

APRIL 23

Traffic stops were conducted in the 700 block of Smith Lane and at Howertown Road and Greenview Drive.

A report of a suspicious vehicle at Canal and West 14th streets was investigated.
