Moore Township Land and Environmental Protection Board’s next meeting is 7 p.m. June 8 at the municipal building, 2491 Community Drive. The board has successfully preserved countless acres of farmland and open space within the township.

Moore Township Recreation Committee will next meet 7 p.m. June 18 at the municipal building. The committee works to assist township children and families. Consider supporting its important work or joining the committee.

The historical commission will be meeting 7 p.m. June 23 at the municipal building. Learn about the rich history of Moore and raise awareness of the historical importance of the township.

Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Department, 2718 Mountain View Drive, is holding its annual grilling/smoking competition 4-8 p.m. June 28. The kitchen will be open for side dishes, baked goods and drinks.
There is a cost to purchase tasting tickets to vote on your best-liked meats. Three prizes will be awarded.
There will be raffles throughout the show.
