Falcons fall to Wilson in regular season finale
The Salisbury track and field teams finished the regular season last week.
The Falcons lost to Wilson 96-51 in the boys meet and 120-28 in the girls meet. Salisbury’s boys team went 2-5 in the regular season, while the girls team was 1-6.
Against the Warriors, Steven Lozada won a pair of events for Salisbury, taking first place in pole vault and triple jump.
Other Falcon winners in the boys meet were Jamanni Cruz (200), Bryan Gonzalez (high jump), Jadiel Gonzalez (long jump) and Griffin Lakics (discus).
Annalise Shelly (long jump) was Salisbury’s only first-place finisher in the girls meet.
The Falcons will compete in this week’s Colonial League Championships, scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday at Whitehall.
The District 11 Championships will be at Whitehall a week later.
