The Emmaus baseball team lost both of its games last week.

The Hornets fell to Central Catholic 6-2 last Wednesday, April 22, and were beaten by Allen 10-0 in six innings Friday.

Against the Vikings, Tanner Karwacki went 2-for-3, accounting for half of the Hornets’ four hits in the game.

Against Allen, Emmaus had just two hits with one coming from Josh Diaz and the other from Karwacki.

Emmaus fell to 6-10 overall and 6-7 in East Penn Conference games with four games remaining on the regular season schedule, including three league games. The Hornets will need to win two of their three remaining EPC games to finish .500 in league play and earn a district playoff berth. They have games this week against Dieruff and Whitehall before the season finale against Parkland Monday, May 4 at Emmaus Community Park.
