Great job to the Catasauqua High School Catty Works students who recently had a great time visiting Bitty and Beau’s Coffee for a work-based learning field trip. Students practiced ordering from the menu and using their money-handling skills to purchase things like drinks and snacks. The students also had the chance to talk with team members, ask questions about their jobs and learn more about working in the community.

These experiences help students build confidence, independence and important real-world skills for the future after high school.

The senior awards ceremony is 9-11 a.m. and the athletic awards ceremony is 6-8 p.m., both May 27.
