Lorie A. Hughes- Rehrig, 59, of Emmaus, died at home May 14, 2026. She was the wife of Troy D. Rehrig, with whom she shared more than 37 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Pearl (Wagner) Hughes.

She was a 1984 graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School in New Tripoli. She worked in inside service support for Amazon in Breinigsville and previously served as a retail clerk for the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board store in Schnecksville. She also worked part-time as a secretary in the administrative office of the Northwestern Lehigh School District.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Daniel R., of Emmaus, Troy C. and his wife, Seana, of Coopersburg; daughter, L. Caitlin, of Emmaus; grandchildren, Elouise, Theodore, Arthur; brother, Ernest T. Hughes II and his wife, Teri, of New Tripoli; sister, Colleen Hughes-Behler and her husband, Lee, of Germansville; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. May 23 at Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli. A calling hour will begin 10 a.m.
