James P. Guesto, 74, of Emmaus, died peacefully surrounded by his family and friends at home April 15, 2026. He was the husband of Kristi A. (Gaumer) Guesto, with whom he shared nearly 33 years of marriage. Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Pascal and Rita E. (Zampetti) Guesto.

He was a member of St. Ann’s Church, Emmaus.

Before retiring in 2017, he worked as a sheet metal worker for 40 years at Apollo Metals, Bethlehem.

He will be remembered for his love of sports, especially the Yankees, music, cars and collecting memorabilia, working outside and cooking, particularly cheeseburgers.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister, Marie; sister-in-law, Maureen, both of Mountain Top; many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother Joseph.
