Shopping experience marks golden anniversary

The Boutique for Hope, in coordination with the Cancer Support Community Greater Lehigh Valley and St. Luke’s University Health Network, will celebrate its 50th anniversary with an event at 3801 Brookside Road Macungie, the former location of Bethany United Methodist Church.

The annual event provides support for all cancer patients, caregivers and their families in our Greater Lehigh Valley area.

This venue offers significant indoor space, providing an air-conditioned and weather-protected environment with parking for shoppers and volunteers.

Collection Dates and Times:

•May 12-16

•Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

•Wednesdays: 1- 7 p.m.

•Saturdays: 8 a.m. to noon

Sale Dates and Times:

•May 26 – Premiere Night 3-8 p.m. (There is an entry fee)

•May 27 – Full-price day 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

•May 28, 29 – Half-price day 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

•May 30 – Bag Day 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Boutique for Hope raised more than $230,700 in 2025, supporting the Cancer Support Community – Greater Lehigh Valley, St. Luke’s Cancer Center and St. Luke’s Hospice, according to a recent press release.

Started by the wives of Bethlehem Steel employees, the event is now run by over 400 dedicated Boutique for Hope volunteers.
