4-H offering three camps for youth

Lehigh County 4-H is inviting youth to sign up for three hands-on summer day camps taking place at the Lehigh County Ag Center, 4184 Dorney Park Road, Allentown.

Whether your child is passionate about animals, curious about science, or ready to try something new, there is a camp designed just for them.

Beginner Archery — 6—8 p.m. May 26, June 10, 11 and 12 (two sessions).

Open to youth ages 8—18 (as of Jan. 1, 2026) this beginner archery program gives young people a safe and structured introduction to the sport.

All equipment is provided, or participants may bring their own.

An Introduction Night is required at 7 p.m. May 26 to secure a session.

•Registration deadline is May 19.

No prior 4-H experience is required to attend.

These camps are open to all eligible youth in the area and are a great way for families new to 4-H to discover what the program has to offer.

·Cloverbud 4-H Discovery Camp — 9 a.m. — 3:30 p.m. June 22—24.

Designed for youth ages 5—10 (as of Jan. 1, 2026), this three-day adventure is perfect for younger children who want to explore a wide range of activities.

·Junior Vet Camp — 9 a.m. — 3:30 p.m. July 21—23.

Calling all future veterinarians! Youth ages 10—14 (as of Jan. 1, 2026) will spend three days learning real animal care skills.
