The Emmaus track and field teams beat Stroudsburg last week to open the 2026 season.

The Hornet girls team won 94-56, while the boys team topped the Mountaineers 98-52.

Mady McCartney (800, 1600) and Claudia Walls (high jump, long jump) won two events each for Emmaus in the girls meet, while Gabby DeVita (100), Heidi-Roxanne Orock (200), Bridget Aquino (400), Mayla Felegy (3200), Brianna Carwell (pole vault) and Kayleen Louis (shot put) won one event each.

Nine different Emmaus boys won an event against the Mounties, including Nicholi Marsh (100), Rien George (200), Nate Miller (400), David Hearn (1600), Roen Woolf (3200), Anthony Battle (110 hurdles), Dylan Raguckas (300 hurdles), Jathniel Feguiere (high jump) and Robert Edwards (shot put).
