EHS boys lacrosse beats K-Kids

After an unbeaten first week to open the 2026 regular season, the Emmaus High School boys lacrosse team dropped two of its next three games.

The Hornets lost their first conference match 10-7 to Easton last Tuesday, March 24, at Memorial Field.

They bounced back and took down Northampton 11-6 last Thursday and then ended the busy week with a 13-3 loss to Wilson West Lawn in a nonleague game.

In the game with the Red Rovers, Alex Younker, Anthony Attar and Sam Pechulis all finished with two goals and Eli Burrell found the back of the net once. Colin Garrett recorded two assists and Attar, Pechulis and Dylan Maloney each contributed one.

Liam Lewis finished with 12 saves in net. Garrett won 13 faceoffs as Emmaus held a 13-8 advantage in that department.

In the victory over the Kids, the Hornets had three players with multi-goal games, led by four from Younker. Both Maloney and Avery Bohm had hat tricks and Pechulis rounded out the scoring with a goal. Maloney dished out three assists and Younker and Garrett added two assists. Lewis made five saves for the win. Emmaus won 19 of 21 faceoffs with Garrett winning 16 of 17 and Max Weber taking 3 of 4.

Against the Bulldogs, WWL got out to a 5-1 lead after the opening quarter and then scored four of five second-quarter goals to go on top 9-2 at halftime and remain unbeaten on the season. Younker, Pechulis and Maloney all scored a goal with Maloney adding an assist. Lewis finished with seven saves.

Emmaus heads into this week at 3-2 overall and 3-1 in the conference.
