Macungie Borough Council met at its regularly scheduled time of 7:30 p.m. April 20 at Macungie Institute, 510 E. Main St.

All borough council members were present for the meeting.

With the usual beginning of the meeting agenda, public comment is welcome.

A nonresident business owner, spoke about a council member’s employment history. Objections were made due to nonbusiness information,

A resident spoke about the new microphones in the Macungie Institute. When the meeting was recorded, the audio segment did not record properly.

Macungie Borough Manager Kalman Sostarecz, Jr. said the microphones had been adjusted but were producing a lot of feedback so they were not being used until adjusted.

The meeting was adjourned 7:35 p.m.

The next meeting scheduled will be 7:30 p.m. May 4 at Macungie Institute.
