Randall Kenneth Bergman
Randall “Randy” Kenneth Bergman, 77, died April 20, 2026. Born in Fresno, Calif., to Robert E. Bergman and Mary J. (Pfrehm) Bergman, he was raised in the small agricultural town of Lindsay, among orange and olive groves, where he developed a lifelong love of gardening and growing things.
He developed a love of football and went on to play in college. He graduated from California State University, Hayward with a degree in business and later earned an engineering degree at the CalPoly, Pomona, before beginning a long career as a mechanical engineer.
Gifted with his hands and an instinct for problem-solving, he could fix nearly anything and spent his career as a maintenance and project engineer in the cement industry until his retirement.
He was the husband of Deanna L. Dugger.
He was a congregant at the Chabad of the Lehigh Valley, where he participated in Torah study for many years, until his health made it more difficult to attend.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Morgen, of Watertown, Mass., Samuel (Catherine), of Billings, Mont; grandsons, Asher and Beau; brother, Martin (Barbara), of Canby, Ore.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Angela DiCarlo Bergman and his parents.
The family welcomes donations to the Easton Children’s Home, the Boston Music Project or encourages the donation of blood through the American Red Cross — something he did regularly as a way of giving the gift of life to others.
Arrangements are entrusted to Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th and Hamilton streets, Allentown. Online condolences may be offered at www.BKRFH.com.
