Amendment made to previous approved land development

During the Lower Macungie Township Board of Commissioners April 16 meeting, Resolution 2026-13 was discussed.

This resolution is an amendment to a land development plan at 3510 Macungie Road.

The development proposed is for 22 single homes to be built with a paved pedestrian path and stormwater detention facilities.

The amendment calls for enlarging the easement, a change in the detention basin and pipe changes due to the Lehigh County Conservation District.

This resolution was approved.

Resolution 2026-14 also was approved. The resolution allows Lower Macungie Township to dispose of certain township records.

In other meeting news, a grant application was approved for the Wild Cherry Playground Rehab project. This a Department of Conservation and Natural Resources project.

A grant application for the Western Lehigh Greenway Feasibility Study also was approved and is Resolution 2026-16.

Resolution 2026-17 is a DCNR Grant Application for a prefabricated pedestrian bridge to be placed over the Little Lehigh along Spring Creek Road. Commissioners approved the resolution.

The bill list was approved as well as the minutes from the April 2 meeting.

There was no executive session.

The next Lower Macungie Township Board of Commissioners meeting is scheduled 6 p.m. May 7.
