East Allen residents are encouraged to take part in a community planting day to be held 10 a.m.-2 p.m. April 25 at Habitat Park, within Bicentennial Park.

Governor Wolf Historical Society is hosting its annual meeting and dinner 6-8:30 p.m. May 1. Scott Paul Gordon will speak on the role of the Moravians in the Revolution.

Registration will start 8 a.m. The youth contest is 9 a.m.-1 p.m., and the adult contest will be held 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
