A fifth-grade transition night is scheduled for April 16.

Parents and students will have the opportunity to visit Northampton Area Middle School to learn about some of the programs and opportunities available to students as they enter sixth grade for the 2026-27 school year.

Parking is available at NAMS and Northampton Banquet and Event Center, 1601 Laubach Ave.

From 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. April 16, NAMS PTA will hold its meeting.

Get ready to roll out the red carpet! The Borough Elementary PTA dance is coming April 17, and this year’s theme is “Borough-wood.”

Students can dress to impress, strike a pose on the red carpet and enjoy a fun night with friends filled with music, dancing and plenty of star-worthy moments.

The dance will be held 6-8 p.m. at Siegfried Elementary School.

April 17 is NAMS’ orchestra/Northampton Naturals spring concert, set for 7-8:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Northampton Area High School.

Students in grades 3-8 will have ELA PSSA testing April 20-24.

Math PSSA testing will take place April 27 and 28.

On April 29 and 30, students will have science PSSA testing.

Northampton Area School District will be holding a facilities committee meeting 6-7 p.m. April 20 in the library NAHS conference room.

Members of the community are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The elementary instrument safari and parent meeting will be held 6:30-7:30 p.m. April 23 in the cafeteria at George Wolf Elementary School.

Northampton Area High School’s spring band concert will take place 7-8 p.m. April 24 in the auditorium.

NAHS’ spring chorus concert will be 7-8 p.m. May 1 in the auditorium.

NASD will have a policy committee meeting 6-7 p.m. May 4 in the library conference room at NAHS.

Lehigh Elementary School’s PTO group will meet 6:30-8 p.m. May 5 in the cafeteria of the school.

The Class of 2026 commencement ceremony has been scheduled for 7:30 p.m. May 29. The ceremony will be held at Al Erdosy Stadium.

The rain dates are set for May 30 and 31, with the time to be determined.

More information will be announced soon for all senior families.

NAMS’ and NAHS’ food pantries are available to those in need to help prepare nutritious meals. Both pantries offer food, clothing and hygiene products to students and their families.
