Northampton: Grace UCC schedules April 27 dinner

An all-you-can-eat pork and sauerkraut dinner, basket raffle and bake sale are planned for 4-7 p.m. April 27 at Grace United Church of Christ, 902 Lincoln Ave. Dinners, for eat-in or takeout, include pork, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, green beans, applesauce, dinner roll, dessert and beverages. Hot dog dinners for children ages 10 and under will be available.

Tickets can be purchased at the door.

Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 2181 Washington Ave., is planning a breakfast, scheduled for 8 a.m.-noon April 28 in the social hall. The menu includes French toast, pancakes, scrambled eggs or omelet, ham, sausage, bacon, hash browns, toast, coffee, tea and juice.

There is a cost.

Queenship of Mary Church and Assumption BVM are planning a bus trip to Sight and Sound Theatre May 10. The bus will depart 4 p.m. from the Queenship of Mary parking lot, 1324 Newport Ave. The show is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The cost includes a box lunch of Potts hot dogs, snacks, soda and water.

Northampton Fire Department is hosting its second annual Northampton Fire Cadet Camp. The camp is set to run 8:30-3:30 p.m. July 8-12, with a graduation ceremony July 13.

The idea of the camp is to help young adults, ages 12-15, learn what a firefighter does. There will be scheduled events throughout each day that will include hands-on training, team building and more.

There is a cost for the camp, which is open to borough residents only. Maximum capacity is 20 students.

Holy Trinity Nursery School, 1235 Main St., is currently registering for the 2024-25 academic year.

The 2-year-old playgroup class will meet 9:30-11 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. Class size is limited to 12 children. Children do not need to be toilet trained for this class.

The 3-year-old class meets 9-11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Class size is limited to 16 children. Children need to be toilet trained for this class.

The 4-year-old class meets 12:15-2:45 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Class size is limited to 16 children. Children need to be toilet trained for this class.

Children must turn the appropriate age for the class by Sept. 1.
