Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

MARCH 25

Police assisted a citizen in the 100 block of South 13th Street.

Officers conducted a warrant service in the unit block of North Fourth Street, Allentown, for Vanessa Andrews, 42, of Whitehall, for theft by unlawful taking or disposition, receiving stolen property and criminal attempt.

Police conducted a welfare check in the 400 block of Walnut Street.

Parking complaints were addressed at Catasauqua American Legion Post 215, 330 Second St.; 134 Howertown Road; and at Suburban North Family YMCA, 880 Walnut St.

MARCH 26

Police conducted a welfare check in the 200 block of Front Street.

Francisco Martinez, 31, of Bethlehem, was arrested in the unit block of Second Street for simple assault and harassment.

At Church and Limestone streets, a parking complaint was addressed.

In the unit block of School Street, an animal complaint was investigated.

MARCH 27

Parking complaints were addressed in the 600 block of Front Street, with a ticket issued, and in the 200 block of Lehigh Street.

Four juveniles were stuck in an elevator at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road. Police assisted with the rescue.

An animal complaint was investigated in the 300 block of Edward Lane.

A reckless driver at Howertown Road and Pine Street was reported.

On Walnut Street, a traffic violation occurred, with a verbal warning issued.

MARCH 28

Police provided a transport by cruiser for court in the unit block of Front Street.

Officers investigated a solicitation complaint in the 500 block of Circle Drive.

The theft of a basketball in the 600 block of Front Street was reported.

The department received a juvenile complaint in the unit block of North 12th Street. Kids were playing in the roadway, the report said.

Criminal mischief to a vehicle in the 500 block of Walnut Street was reported.

A neighbor dispute occurred in the 500 block for Third Street.

Police conducted a welfare check at Catasauqua Apartments, 118 Bridge St.

In the 300 block of Walnut Street, a noise complaint had police at the scene.

MARCH 29

No arrests were made during domestic disturbances in the 100 block of Wood Street and the unit block of Covington Place.

An unattended death in the 700 block of Fourth Street was investigated.

Officers assisted a citizen in the 400 block of Front Street.

Police addressed a noise complaint in the unit block of Mulberry Street.

MARCH 30

Officers conducted a welfare check in the unit block of Second Street.

Suspicious activity in the 500 block of St. John Street was reported.

APRIL 1

No arrests were made during a domestic disturbance in the 1000 block of Howertown Road, North Catasauqua.

Traffic violations occurred at North 10th and St. John streets; in the 600 block of Front Street, with a citation issued; and in the 500 block of Howertown Road, with the vehicle towed.

A loud music complaint in the 100 block of Howertown Road was addressed.

At the same residence in the unit block of Front Street, police conducted a welfare check and assisted a citizen.

APRIL 2

A juvenile trespassing at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road, was reported.

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 600 block of Front Street. No arrests were made.

A 14-year-old male and a 16-year-old female were charged with disorderly conduct at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road.

Welfare checks were conducted at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St.

The department received a report of juveniles fighting at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St.

A traffic violation took place in the 500 block of Front Street; a verbal warning was issued.

APRIL 3

A complaint regarding a juvenile at Catasauqua Middle School, 850 Pine St., was addressed.

A reportable motor vehicle accident occurred at Lehigh and Race streets.

A report of juveniles fighting at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road, is under investigation.

An animal complaint in the 700 block of Second Street was investigated. The dog was later returned to its owner.

Welfare checks were conducted in the 200 block of Wood Street and the 100 block of Race Street.

A vehicle was ticketed due to a parking violation in the 200 block of Wood Street.

At Second and Church streets, a written warning was given for a traffic violation.

APRIL 4

Officers investigated a complaint regarding a juvenile and missing/stolen sneakers at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St.

A juvenile runaway from the unit block of Front Street was reported.

Frank Monberger, 49, was served a warrant in the unit block of North Fourth Street, Allentown, for cruelty to animals.

A parking complaint was addressed in the 300 block of Church Street.

APRIL 5

A traffic violation occurred in the 400 block of Front Street.

Charges are pending in a fight case that took place at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road.

Suspicious persons at Blackberry Street and Howertown Road were reported.

A fraud report was handled by police in the 300 block of Race Street.

Officers addressed a noise complaint in the 100 block of Front Street.

APRIL 6

Suspicious activity in the 800 block of Circle Drive was reported.

An animal complaint in the 600 block of South 14th Street was addressed.

Harassment charges were filed against Aaron Arancibia, of Catasauqua, and Shanora Hinson, of Allentown, during a domestic disturbance in the 200 block of American Street.

Police investigated a reported threat in the 500 block of Poplar Street.

APRIL 7

At South 11th and Race streets, a suspicious vehicle had police at the scene.

Officers assisted a citizen in the 500 block of Race Street.

Police conducted welfare checks at American and East Wood streets and in the 500 block of St. John Street.

The department received a complaint of a motorbike on Race Street.

At Canal and Mulberry streets, a parking complaint was addressed.

Police issued a verbal warning during a traffic violation at Front and Wood streets.
