PHS T&F starts 2-0

The Parkland track and field teams were faster and stronger than the Hurricanes last week. The Trojans improved to 2-0 with wins over Liberty last week.

The Parkland girls team won the dual meet 130-20, while the boys team earned a 133-17 victory.

The Trojan girls team won all 15 individual events and two of the three relays. Fourteen Parkland athletes won individual events, with Kaley Seide the only multiple event winner as she finished first in both the 100 and 200-meter dash.

Parkland had three individuals win two events in the boys meet as Jacob Barnes (800, 1600), Andrew Beers (110 hurdles, 300 hurdles) and Julius Reyes (shot put, discus) won two events each. Parkland won 14 of 15 individual events and swept the three relays against Liberty
