Second annual STEAM Night at The Hillside School, 2697 Brookside Road, Macungie, 5:30-6:30 p.m. The event highlights students’ projects across science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics disciplines.

April 27

Wildlands Conservancy will host a daytime camp out 10 a.m. to noon at Trexler Nature Preserve, 4935 Orchard Road, Schnecksville. Participants will learn how to pitch a tent, start a campfire and other basic skills needed to survive a night outdoors. The event is free; however, space is limited and registration is required. “Cruisin’ for a Groovin’ Gala” to benefit Camelot for Children 6-10 p.m. at the America on Wheels Museum, 5 N. Front St., Allentown. The fundraiser benefits children with special needs. For more information visit https://groovingala.givesmart.com.

The Great Macungie Cleanup will be held 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Volunteers and local Boy Scouts will pick up litter and debris at sites in and around the borough. Visit the website https://cleanup.keeppabeautiful.org/ for information.

A local artisans and crafters fair will be held 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Macungie Institute, 510 E. Main St., Macungie. The fair features more than 50 local artisans and crafters showcasing handmade items. The event will be held rain or shine. Admission and parking are free.

April 28

A cash bingo to benefit the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley will be held 1 p.m. at Macungie Memorial Hall. Doors open 11:30 a.m.

The Macungie Band will perform 3 p.m. in the sanctuary at Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, 3441 Devonshire Road, Salisbury Township.

May 2, 3, 4

The Friends of the Lower Macungie Library will host the Spring 2024 Book Sale at the library, 3450 Brookside Road, Macungie. A ‘Friends-Only’ preview night will be held 5-7:30 p.m. May 2. Memberships will be available at the door for a fee. The public sale will be held 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 3 and May 4. The bargain bag sale starts 2:30 p.m. May 4. May 4

The Salisbury Youth Association will host a community day 1-4 p.m. at Salisbury Middle School, 3301 Devonshire Road, Salisbury Township. The event will include a basket raffle, soccer clinic, a basketball tournament and more.

The Ontelaunee Region Antique Car Club invites anyone with an interest in old cars to attend the club’s meeting 3 p.m. in the basement of New Jerusalem Zion Church, 1456 Krumsville Road, Lenhartsville. Meetings include social time, door prizes and refreshments. Learn about the club’s apple blossom tour to Mascaro Auto Museum, Birdsboro or annual church tour in June. There is a cost for tours and a meal is included. You do not need to own an antique car to join the club or to go on the tours. The Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Quarry Road, Alburtis, will host a spring craft fair and vendor show 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Attractions will include crafts, a gift basket auction, attic treasures, baked goods and lunch.

Lower Macungie Township will host Community Day 4-8 p.m. at the Lower Macungie Community Center, 3450 Brookside Road. The event includes free activities for all ages including music performances, a petting zoo, kite and craft making, a photo booth, a rock climbing wall and other attractions.

The Crazy Quilters Quilt Guild meets 6:30 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 4601 Tilghman St., Allentown. Guest speaker Barbara Dann of Alleycat Quilts, who is celebrating her 25th anniversary in the quilting business, will present a live lecture and trunk show. The Seed Farm will host its annual spring plant sale at the farm, 5854 Vera Cruz Road, Emmaus, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 11 and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 12. The sale features a wide variety of plants, including vegetable, herb and flower plants grown at the farm without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides.

Kiwanis Club of Emmaus’ 49th annual Pancake and Sausage Festival 8 a.m. to noon at Emmaus Fire Co. #1, Sixth and Broad streets, Emmaus. Event includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, raffles, music and mascots. Children age 8 and under enjoy breakfast for free. For tickets, visit www.emmauskiwanis.org.
