Northampton County district attorney and Lower Saucon Township are filing charges against a juvenile female for issuing a bomb threat against Saucon Valley School District.

According to a release from the DA’s office, the district received a threat through undescribed means March 19 and was forced to temporarily close all buildings.

An investigation identified the girl responsible and uncovered no evidence of an explosive device. Charges of terroristic threats will be filed with the department of Northampton County Juvenile Probation.
