Northampton Borough Elementary Schools will hold a book bingo 6 p.m. March 15 at Siegfried Elementary, 1677 Lincoln Ave., Northampton. Doors open 5 p.m.

The event is free, and there will be free pizza, bottles of water and snacks.

The event is sponsored by the Title 1 program.

Reminder: Lehigh Elementary School will have its spring picture day March 14. Students will bring home more information for parents/guardians to review.

Northampton Area School District’s spring community classes are underway. This program offers a diverse range of courses that cater to personal interests and promote fitness and leisure activities. The courses are taught by experienced instructors and are priced affordably.

The classes include country line dancing 6:30-7:30 p.m. March 19 and 26; aqua aerobics 7:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays from April 9 to May 30; yoga sculpt 7-8 p.m. Thursdays, April 4, 11, 18 and 25; and lap swim 7:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesdays, May 1, 8, 15 and 22.

All classes are held at NASD locations.

Northampton Area High School will be holding its National Honor Society induction ceremony 7-9 p.m. March 20 in the auditorium of the school.

Northampton Area Middle School’s PTA group will be holding its monthly meeting 5-6 p.m. March 21.

Elementary PTA groups will be hosting a basket social, planned for 9 a.m.-1 p.m. March 23 at Siegfried Elementary, to raise funds for students and faculty of Northampton Borough Elementary Schools.

Tickets will be sold at the door for $10 for one sheet (26) or $15 for two sheets (52).

Moore Elementary School will be having its fifth grade and club picture day March 26.

The elementary string concert will take place 7-8:30 p.m. April 12 in the auditorium at Northampton Area High School.
