State police at Bethlehem

State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported the following:

• Police are investigating a burglary reported at 12:04 a.m. Feb. 23.

It happened at 4481 Mauch Chunk Road (Binny Mart) in North Whitehall Township.

Police said it was determined a man smashing a glass door and proceeded to remove items before fleeing the store in a westbound direction toward the Villa Lentini restaurant. They said the man appeared to approach the business on foot from the east on Balliet Street.

He was dressed in all black and was carrying a black bookbag. Police are asking anyone with information on the incident to contact them at 610-861-2026.

• Police were summoned to the Weis Market, 5020 Route 873, North Whitehall Township, at 2:09 p.m. Jan. 29 for a report of a theft.

They ended up arresting Kasheem Larmond, no age or address provided, for stealing $411.75 worth of groceries from the store.

• Two vehicles had minor damages in an incident at 3:15 p.m. Feb. 15 on Route 873 in Washington Township.

Police said no one was hurt in the incident. They did not identify the drivers.

They said a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox was northbound when it traveled into the southbound lane, accelerated passed a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox, at which time the latter vehicle struck the passing vehicle.
