Lehigh Valley Auto Dealers Association is seeking community volunteers to staff the 2024 Lehigh Valley Auto Show for 5-hour shifts. The show is scheduled for Thursday, March 21 through Sunday, March 24 at Stabler Athletic & Convocation Center. All functions are indoors. Volunteers are provided a T-shirt, snacks and free parking. Marvine Elementary in Bethlehem receives a food donation every Friday to distribute to the community. We need help to organize and monitor the food when the community begins to take the items, a watcher for the quantities taken in, sign up list, and break down boxes. Be My Neighbor Day is back and will be at the Bethlehem Area Public Library! Join PBS39 & 91.3 WLVR on March 23 for a day of fun with performances from Lolly Hopwood, visits from Bethlehem’s Civic Leaders, Storytimes, craft activities, Daniel Tiger meet and greet and more! Volunteers are needed for set up prior to the event and with crafts, chaperone rooms for safety and table the day of the event. Clearances, application, and information session required. Project Blueprint is a leadership development program designed to help nonprofit organizations develop boards that are reflective of the culturally diverse communities they serve. Diverse volunteers are invited to attend the six virtual sessions scheduled 5:15 - 7 p.m. on Wednesdays, March 6 to April 10, with an in-person networking session with nonprofits April 24. You will support classroom teachers and empower students in their educational journey.
