STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: Emily Morgan is in fifth grade at Miller Heights ES. Emily is a compassionate and joyful fifth grade student. She helped to start a Kindness Club at Miller Heights when she was in third grade. She recently raised and donated $75 for the SPCA by making and selling bracelets! Emily demonstrates MH Husky pride every day!

STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Larry McGee is a custodian at Clearview ES. McGee is a committed member of our team who consistently goes above and beyond, offering his assistance to everyone around him with enthusiasm. His attitude and dedication to Clearview and BASD make him an asset to our School District.

ALUMNI: SPOTLIGHT: Shauna Smith is a 2016 Freedom HS graduate. She is currently an associate school nurse at Calypso ES. After graduation, Shauna attended Lehigh Carbon Community College and East Stroudsburg University.

THOMAS JEFFERSON ES STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: Shout-out to Lilah and Lara who are a part of the TJ Safety Team. The girls are big helpers to our K-2 students. At the end of every day, they help bus and daycare students pack up and escort them to their pick up areas. They help make sure each student is accounted for ready to dismiss safely. Thank you for your commitment to the TJ Safety Team and showing us the TJ Way to Bee!

Volunteer opportunities

ANIMAL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Last Chance Ranch in Quakertown is seeking volunteers to prepare animal food, walk dogs, cage/kennel cleaning, enrichment, vet transportation and events.
