EHS to administer digital SAT in March

The Emmaus High School Young Republicans Club will host its next meeting after school Feb. 21 in Room 310. Any new members may use code V7KF-3XNJ-J65F7 to join the club’s Schoology group. Contact lsmeltz@eastpennsd.org with questions.

On March 9, EHS will host the digital SAT. Interested students must register at https://satsuite.collegeboard.org/sat by Feb. 23 or by the late registration deadline of Feb. 27. Scores will be available through students’ College Board accounts beginning March 22. With questions, contact an EHS guidance counselor.

For National Honor Society members, Macungie Elementary School is seeking volunteers for its annual Bingo Night 4:30-8:30 p.m. Feb. 23 in the school’s cafeteria. Various one-hour and two-hour shifts are available, ranging from snack stand to event cleanup.

Additionally, Bingo Night volunteers may count their hours as “NHS Project Hours,” three of which are required per year to maintain society membership. To obtain a volunteer slot, visit the signupgenius link provided.

Students interested in trying out for girls lacrosse must attend a mandatory meeting 2:45 p.m. Feb. 24 in Room 11.

NHS tutors are needed for Lehigh Career & Technical Institute students, who do not have Hornet Homeroom built into their schedules. Tutors with after-school or study hall availability are encouraged to contact lwood@eastpennsd.org.
