Lauren Bunke of Bethlehem, is one of four Lebanon Valley College student-athletes to receive a Middle Atlantic Conference Player of the Week award.

Bunke, a member of the women’s track and field team, was named Middle Atlantic Conference Track Athlete of the Week for the week ending January 21.

Bunke won the 3000 meters at the River Hawk Invitational with the top time in the MAC this season of 10:17.58. Bunke won by almost a minute with a time that also qualified her for the AARTFC Championships. Her converted time of 10:12.33 for track size is ranked 27th in the nation, second in the Mid-Atlantic Region, and fifth in the AARTFC. Bunke’s career-best time puts her second on the program’s Top 10 list in the event.

Bunke, a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School, is pursuing a doctor of physical therapy in physical therapy.
