Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

JAN. 15

A theft in the 200 block of Bridge Street was investigated.

Criminal mischief in the 100 block of Howertown Road had police at the scene.

Police attempted to serve a subpoena for an outside agency in the unit block of Front Street.

Officers addressed protection-from-abuse issues in the 600 block of St. John Street.

JAN. 16

An unwanted person in the 600 block of St. John Street was reported.

A traffic violation occurred at Second and Wood streets.

Animal complaints were addressed in the 400 block of St. John Street and the 800 block of Peach Street, the latter for a found husky that was later reunited with its owner.

Police assisted citizens at Front and Pine streets and in the 600 block of St. John Street, the latter regarding an emergency call; and North Catasauqua officers in the 1000 block of Fourth Street, North Catasauqua, regarding a phone call.

At Church and Limestone streets, a parking complaint was addressed.

Officers responded to a disturbance, involving disorderly conduct, in the 200 block of Peach Street.

JAN. 17

A domestic disturbance, involving threats, in the 200 block of Front Street was investigated.

Traffic violations took place at First Avenue and Pine Street, Whitehall, with the driver cited and vehicle towed, and on Lehigh Street, with a warning issued.

A burglary alarm sounded at the George Taylor House, Lehigh and Poplar streets.

A suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of Walnut Street was reported.

Officers conducted welfare checks in the 100 block of Front Street and at Stonewood Place and Walnut Street.

In the 500 block of St. John Street, police conducted a security check.

A subject stop took place at Church and Front streets.

JAN. 18

An animal complaint at Chestnut and Limestone streets was reported.

On Race Street, police responded to a theft.

A threat in the 200 block of Front Street was filed with the department.

Police conducted a welfare check at Catasauqua Apartments, 118 Bridge St.

Justis Claudio Phillips, 21, of Catasauqua, was arrested for burglary, criminal trespassing/breaking into a building, possessing instruments of crime, simple assault, a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 200 block of Second Street.

Officers assisted citizens at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road, and in the 900 block of Race Street.

JAN. 19

A traffic violation took place in the 300 block of Second Street, with the driver cited.

Domestic issues had police investigating in the 700 block of Front Street and the 500 block of Fourth Street.

Police assisted North Catasauqua officers in the 1100 block of Railroad Street, North Catasauqua, and Upper Macungie officers at Catasauqua Towers, 534 Third St.

JAN. 20

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police in the 1000 block of Fifth Street, North Catasauqua,

At Front and Pine streets, a traffic complaint was addressed.

Police conducted a security check in the 500 block of St. John Street.

JAN. 21

Police conducted a welfare check in the 100 block of Bridge Street.

A protection-from-abuse violation took place in the 400 block of Front Street.
