Motorcyclist dies 19 years after Lynn Township crash

A 52-year-old Northampton man, who was the operator of a motorcycle involved in a collision with a pickup truck around 6 a.m. June 1, 2004, at the intersection of Route 309 North and Route 143, Lynn Township, has died 19 years after the collision.

According to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel P. Buglio, Eric J. Fenstermaker, was pronounced dead 10:50 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2023, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown Campus.

The cause of his death is complications of traumatic brain injury due to motorcycle accident.

The manner of Fenstermaker’s death was ruled an accident, Buglio said.
