Academy debuts February 2024

The Emmaus Police Department is now accepting applications for the first Emmaus Citizen Police Academy.

The course will begin in February of 2024.

The Emmaus Citizen Police Academy is an eight-week course designed to educate the Borough of Emmaus citizens in the philosophy, policies, operations, practices and functions of the Emmaus Police Department while enhancing and developing police/community relations.

This course is not intended to train or certify citizens to perform law enforcement services.
