SES students perform holiday concerts

Salisbury Township schools will be closed Dec. 22 through Jan. 1, 2024 for winter break. All students need to return Jan. 2, 2024.

If you are looking to cheer on some Falcon athletics this winter, Salisbury basketball season is in full swing. Varsity boys basketball has a home game Dec. 14 against Palmerton.

Varsity girls basketball has home games Dec. 15, 18 and 20.

Our students would love to see you in the stands.

One last reminder about the winter musical performances at Salisbury Elementary School.

Dec. 14 will have kindergarten perform 9:15 a.m. and first grade 10:15 a.m.

Dec. 15 will have second grade perform 9:15 a.m. and third and fourth grades will perform 10:15 a.m.

Other things to do in the area this winter season include Candy Cane Lane at The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley. Five outdoor sheds are set up at the Promenade Shops with local businesses selling their products. Decorated with lights and candy canes, it is a beautiful place to support local vendors. This runs through Dec. 31.

Does your child love trains? Who doesn’t this time of year? The America on Wheels Museum, 5 N. Front St., Allentown, has its holiday train exhibit set up until Dec. 30. Lights and train whistles envelope you as you peruse the display. Children 12 and under have free admission.
