Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

SEPT. 28

Reports of domestic disturbances had police in the 100 block of Howertown Road and the 300 block of Howertown Road, with the latter involving a protection-from-abuse order.

The department said a juvenile complaint that occurred at Church Street and Howertown Road is under investigation.

A traffic violation occurred at Lehigh and York streets.

A report of trespassing in the 400 block of Second Street was handled.

SEPT. 29

A traffic violation occurred in the 600 block of Howertown Road. The vehicle was towed and the driver cited.

A 14-year-old male was cited for use of tobacco in schools prohibited at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road.

A theft of money in the unit block of Lehigh Street was reported.

Harassment by communication in the 300 block of Howertown Road had police at the scene.

Brandon Heimbach, 25, of North Catasauqua, was arrested for simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment at Front and Walnut streets.

SEPT. 30

In the 500 block of Third Street, police assisted a citizen.

Police responded to a parking complaint in the 100 block of Canal Street.

Officers responded to a disturbance in the 800 block of Walnut Street.

A 56-year-old male, of Allentown, was arrested for suspected DUI in the 300 block of Wood Street.

OCT. 1

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police at Second and Chapel streets, North Catasauqua.

A burglar alarm sounded in the 500 block of Howertown Road.

At North 14th and Race streets, a traffic violation took place.

OCT. 2

Officers assisted a citizen in the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Lehigh County Sheriff’s Department in the 300 block of Howertown Road and North Catasauqua police in the 1100 block of Front Street, North Catasauqua.

Traffic violations occurred in the 300 block of Front Street and at Second Avenue and Pine Street, Whitehall, the latter involving an arrest.

A security check was conducted in the 200 block of Front Street.

Police investigated a juvenile issue at Catasauqua High School, 2500 W. Bullshead Road, Northampton.

Parking complaints were addressed in the 100 block of Second Street and at Second and Mulberry streets, the latter with the vehicle ticketed.

At American and Pine streets, a disturbance had police at the scene.

A juvenile reported missing from the 500 block of Walnut Street was later located.

Officers responded to a mental health case in the unit block of Stonewood Place.

An animal complaint in the 600 block of Railroad Street was addressed.

OCT. 3

A hazardous condition in the 400 block of Race Street had police at the scene.

Traffic violations took place in the 500 block of Front Street, at Second and Bridge streets and at Walnut and 14th streets, the latter with a verbal warning issued.

Animal complaints were addressed in the 300 block of Edward Lane and in the 600 block of Front Street, the latter case being referred to an animal control officer and under investigation.

Officers assisted citizens in the 200 block of Church Street and at Front and Willow streets.

At Catasauqua High School, 2500 W. Bullshead Road, Northampton, a juvenile issue was addressed.

A 16-year-old male was charged with a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road.

OCT. 4

Officers assisted Pennsylvania State Police at Silver Manor, 2 Front St., and North Catasauqua officers in the 1000 block of Front Street, North Catasauqua, for a domestic disturbance and in the 100 block of Pine Street for a wanted person.

OCT. 5

Traffic violations occurred at Second and Pine streets and on Pine Street, with the driver cited.

Officers assisted a citizen regarding a threat complaint at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road, and North Catasauqua police in the 1000 block of Front Street, North Catasauqua.

Charges are pending against a 13-year-old female for terroristic threats at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road.

At Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., a civil matter was addressed.

A suspicious vehicle at Howertown Road and Pine Street was reported.

OCT. 6

In the 700 block of Front Street, a traffic violation occurred.

Police assisted a citizen at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St.

A threat at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road, was referred to Allentown police.

OCT. 7

Traffic violations took place at Second Street and Howertown Road and in the 100 block of Pine Street.

Officers responded to a custody issue in the 500 block of Kurtz Street.

The theft of a license plate in the 100 block of Front Street was investigated.

An international fraud scam in the 200 block of Edward Lane was investigated.

Police addressed an animal complaint in the 300 block of Howertown Road. A found dog was returned to its owner.

In the 100 block of Railroad Street, a verbal domestic disturbance had police at the scene.

A loitering complaint in the 400 block of Front Street was filed with the department.

Officers assisted Colonial Regional Police Department at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., for a reported theft.

In the 700 block of Front Street, a noise complaint was addressed.

OCT. 8

Officers conducted a welfare check in the 400 block of St. John Street.

Traffic violations took place at Union and Second streets, at Catasauqua Area School District, 201 N. 14th St., and at Second and Bridge streets.

Police assisted North Catasauqua officers in the 1000 block of Sixth Street.

OCT. 9

Officers checked a home in the 200 block of Faith Drive.

Members of the department assisted North Catasauqua police in the 1100 block of Third Street, North Catasauqua.

OCT. 10

Traffic violations took place in the 100 block of Canal Street, with the driver cited; on Pine Street, with the driver cited; and twice at Second and Bridge streets.

A vehicle was ticketed for a parking violation at Second and Liberty streets.

Animal complaints were addressed at Front and Bridge streets, where a found dog was later returned to its owner, and at South 14th Street and Edward Lane.

Officers responded to a civil issue in the 100 block of Bridge Street.

Police assisted a citizen with the pickup of a juvenile in the 1000 block of Railroad Street.

A temporary protection-from-abuse order was granted in the 500 block of Bath Avenue.

At South 14th Street and Faith Drive, a reportable motor vehicle accident took place.

OCT. 11

Traffic violations occurred in the 1600 block of East Race Street, Hanover Township, with the driver cited; at North 14th Street and Bridge Court, with the driver cited; at North 14th and Race streets; and at South 14th and Race streets.

A 15-year-old male was charged with a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road.

At Catasauqua High School, 2500 W. Bullshead Road, Northampton, a juvenile was charged with possession of marijuana.

Police assisted Coplay officers in the unit block of North Fourth Street.

At American and East Wood streets, a disturbance took place.

OCT. 12

A driver was cited during a vehicle stop in the 200 block of North 14th Street.

At Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road, police responded to a juvenile issue.

OCT. 13

Traffic violations occurred at Front and Pine streets; on Walnut Street, with the driver cited; in the 500 block of Front Street; and at Second and Bridge streets, with the case involving alcohol.

Officers assisted police at Lehigh Valley International Airport, 3311 Airport Road, Hanover Township.
