Police ask for help in burglary

Salisbury Township Police Department authorities are investigating a burglary at a residence in the 3000 block of Fairfield Drive in which burglars allegedly entered the residence while the homeowners were home.

Authorities detailed the incident in a news release dated June 12 as follows:

About 8:48 p.m. June 8, someone entered the residence and began to rummage through belongings in the home.

The homeowners screamed and the burglars fled the home.

The residents were not hurt in the incident.

The suspects left the area in a newer model Jeep Wagoneer sport utility vehicle, according to Salisbury police. The vehicle was found abandoned a short distance from the scene.

The burglars are described as males wearing black clothing. One of the men is described as approximately 6 feet tall with a husky build. He was wearing a black hooded shirt. The second suspect is described as about 6 feet, 2 inches tall with a thinner build.

It is unknown what is missing or was taken from the residence.

There is no indication the public is in danger, according to Salisbury police.
