Joan L. Rodgers, 89, of Catasauqua, died May 9, 2023, at her home. She was the wife of Larry Rodgers for 67 years.

Born in Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late John and Loretta (Klingler) O’Mara.

She was in the class of 1951 at Sacred Heart School of Nursing, Allentown.

She was a nurse for Sacred Heart Hospital and a local family practice.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Catasauqua.

She is survived by a son, Mark and wife Mary; a daughter, Lisa Pillon and husband Mark; and four grandchildren, Abigail Bavis and husband Alex, Jonathan Pillon and wife Alexandra, Amy Rodgers and Michael Rodgers.

She was predeceased by a brother, Jack O’Mara.
