The Salisbury track and field teams were swept in their final regular season meets. The Falcon boys team lost to Saucon Valle 82-61 and fell to Bangor 90-53. Salisbury’s girls team lost to Saucon Valley 115-33 and fell to Bangor 117-27.

Despite the team losses, a few Salisbury athletes won individual events as they prepared for this week Colonial League Championship meet.

Jairo Suarez took first place in the 110-meter hurdles against Bangor and Saucon Valley, posting a time of 15.53. Heriberto Hernandez made it a Salisbury sweep in boys hurdle events when he took first place in the 300-meter race in 44.48.

Jacob Cadet earned a win in the long jump at 19 feet, while Joshua Hudak took first place in triple jump at 38-5.

In girsl events, Gabriella Pena won the discus event with a throw or 80-1. Emily Batten crossed the line first in the 3200-meter run with a time of 12:37.56.
