Simple assault

A 36-year-old female, of Allentown, was charged March 22 with alleged aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment and endangering the welfare of children after an incident at the Salisbury Elementary School, 1400 Gaskill St., according to Salisbury police.

Possession

A 22-year-old female, of Allentown, was charged March 19 with alleged possession of a small amount of marijuana after a traffic stop in the area of Green Acres Drive and Flexer Avenue, according to Salisbury police.

Harassment

A 53-year-old female, of Emmaus, was cited March 20 for alleged harassment after an incident in the 400 block of Stoneridge Road, according to Salisbury police.

Adult compulsory school attendance

A 49-year-old female, of Allentown, was cited March 24 for an alleged violation of adult compulsory school attendance following an incident at the Salisbury Middle School, 3301 Devonshire Road, where an 11-year-old-male allegedly had an excessive number of school absences, according to Salisbury police.

Weapon on school property

A 13-year-old-male was referred to the community justice panel March 21 after an incident at the Arts Academy Charter Middle School, 1610 E. Emmaus Ave. where the male allegedly possessed a weapon on school property, according to Salisbury police.

Tobacco in schools

An 18-year-old female, of Allentown, was cited March 16 with alleged use of tobacco in schools prohibited after an incident at the Salisbury High School, 500 E. Montgomery St., according to Salisbury police.

Attempted burglary

Someone briefly forced entry to a residence in the 1700 block of Crownwood Street and quickly left when approached by the homeowner, according to Salisbury police. Nothing was taken from the residence and no one was injured, according to authorities. The incident was reported March 24.

Scam

A resident of the 2200 block of Lehigh Parkway North sent a large amount of digital currency to an address after he was told his computer had been compromised and payment was necessary to protect his cash, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported March 23.

A resident in the 1600 block of Maple Avenue wired a sum of money to a title company for the purchase of a home and later was advised the request for money may not have come from the appropriate title company, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported March 16.

A resident of the 800 block of East Federal Street purchased some puppies online by using various gift cards but did not receive the puppies, according to Salisbury police The incident was reported March 12.

Fraud

A resident of the 1800 block of East Emmaus Avenue learned multiple fraudulent transactions were made using her banking information at a business in Allentown, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported March 12.

A resident of the 1200 block of Fairfax Street learned a check received in payment for goods he sold on an e-commerce site was fraudulent, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported March 13.

Criminal mischief

Two windows were found damaged with holes at 1245 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported March 16 and damage was estimated at $1,800.
