Christopher Rapp seeks office of Magisterial District Judge

Christopher Rapp has officially announced his candidacy for Magisterial District Judge serving Salisbury Township and Allentown 16th Ward.

He is the son of the late Anthony G. Rapp, former Salisbury Township and Fountain Hill Magisterial District Judge for over 25 years and nephew to the late William Paulik, longtime Salisbury High School boys basketball coach.

Rapp’s goal is to maintain the integrity of the office established by former Magisterial District Judges William Burdette, his father Anthony G. Rapp to current and outgoing Magisterial District Judge Michael Pochron.

Rapp has been involved in the community for several years, especially with the Salisbury Youth Association. His involvement includes volunteer coach and director for girls basketball, as well as head baseball coach for senior level (13 to 19 years of age) from 2006–2018. He has also held the position in the past of assistant Salisbury Middle School girls basketball coach.

Rapp and his wife Leann (Bruner) have been married for 29 years and have resided in western Salisbury since 1997. They have two daughters, Abby and Lindsey, both Salisbury High School graduates.

For the last 15 years, Rapp has worked as automotive service consultant for Scott Chevrolet in Allentown. Before that, he worked at the former Knopf Automotive.
