Aggravated assault

A 33-year-old female, of Hazleton, was charged March 1 with alleged aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment after an incident at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest campus, according to Salisbury police.

Possession

An 18-year-old male, of Allentown, was charged March 2 with alleged possession of marijuana and use of tobacco in schools prohibited after an incident at Salisbury Township High School, 500 E. Montgomery St., according to Salisbury police.

A 15-year-old-female was referred to the community justice panel Feb. 28 for alleged possession of THC, or Tetrahydrocannabinol and nicotine vapes at Salisbury Township High School, 500 E. Montgomery St., according to Salisbury police.

Public drunkenness

A 56-year-old male, of Coopersburg, was charged March 11 with alleged public drunkenness following an incident in the 3300 block of Lehigh Street, according to Salisbury police.

Theft from vehicle

Catalytic converters from two vehicles were removed while the vehicles were parked in the 3300 block of West Emmaus Avenue, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported March 3.

Theft

A package was removed from the front porch of a residence in the 1300 block of Maumee Avenue, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported March 3 and the package and its contents are valued at $125.

A purse and its contents were removed while the owner of the purse was at a doctor’s appointment in the 1243 South Cedar Crest Boulevard building, according to Salisbury police. The purse contained $20 cash, an iPhone and various cards. The incident was reported March 8.

Tobacco in schools

A 15-year-old male was charged March 8 with alleged use of tobacco in schools prohibited following an incident at Salisbury Township High School, 500 E. Montgomery St., according to Salisbury police.

Transmission of sexually explicit images

A 15-year-old female was charged March 3 with alleged transmission of sexually explicit images by a minor following an incident at Salisbury Township High School, 500 E. Montgomery St., according to Salisbury police.

Fraud

A resident of the 1400 block of East Emmaus Avenue learned her electronic benefit transfer card was compromised and $598 was withdrawn in Nevada, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported March 8 and the account was closed.

A resident of the 700 block of Flexer Avenue learned his electronic benefit transfer card was compromised and two fraudulent purchases totaling $975 were made in Texas, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported March 10 and the account was closed.
