The Whitehall-Coplay American Legion baseball team will hold sign-ups 6-8 p.m. March 22 and noon-2 p.m. March 25 at the field house on Potter Terrace, Coplay.

There is a registration fee. A deposit is due at the time of sign-up.

Lions Clubs District 14K has scheduled its annual bowlathon event for noon-3 p.m. March 19 at Jordan Lanes, 731 Jordan Parkway.

This event supports the Whitehall Lions Club and the Foundation Fighting Blindness.

Egypt Community Church will host a spaghetti dinner 4-6:30 p.m. March 25 at the fellowship hall, located across from the church, 4129 S. Church St. Takeout meals are available.

Tickets will be sold at the door. All proceeds benefit church missions.

A Tenebrae service will take place 7 p.m. Good Friday April 8, followed by a prayer vigil 8 p.m. through 7 p.m. April 9.

Whitehall Lions Club is collecting clean plastic shopping bags to be transformed into a composite material park bench.

The goal is to collect 40,000 bags by June 30.

The Ironton Rail Trail spring historical walk will be 9 a.m. March 25. Meet at the Whitehall Parkway barn, 4041 Chestnut St.

This 7-mile, guided, four-hour hike will be led by Bob Abbott and Ray Bieak.
