Coplay: Pink Pumpkins Coins 4 Chemo plans an end-of-winter event

Pink Pumpkins Coins 4 Chemo will present its Bye Bye Winter Fest event 10 a.m.-5 p.m. March 11 at the American Club of Coplay, 300 Cherry St.

There will be halupki platters, a basket raffle, a craft and vendor fair and a bake sale.

Preorders are strongly encouraged for the halupki platters. Visit PPC4C.org to pre-order.

Coplay Saengerbund, 205 S. Fifth St., announced its indoor winter evening entertainment, planned for 7-10 p.m.

Musical acts include the Steve and Steve Duo March 11, Chelsea Lyn Meyer March 25 and Chris “Breeze” Barcynski April 8.

These are open to members and their guests only. There is no cover.

American Club of Coplay is offering its monthly hoagie sales March 14 and 15. Hoagies (regular or tuna) and sandwiches (ham and cheese or tuna) are available.

The club will be holding a ham/cash raffle March 26. The doors open noon.

There will be a free lunch refreshments included in the ticket price.

St. John’s Lutheran Church, 18 S. Third St., is assembling a yearlong celebration for 2023 as the church celebrates its 150th anniversary.

The church will be hosting a free movie day 1-4 p.m. March 18 at the Roxy Theatre, 2004 Main St., Northampton. They will show “The Star.”

The concession stand will be open.

The Coplay Saengerbund heritage committee is planning a St. Patrick’s Day dance for 3-6 p.m. March 19.

The Joe Kroboth band is entertaining. Dancers from the O’Grady Quinlan Academy of Irish Dance will perform.

It is open to members and guests. There is a cost.

The Saengerbund’s Lumpenball (Bum’s Ball) is planned for 3-6 p.m. March 26.

Emil Schanta Band will perform.

No reservations are needed. Come dressed down in old clothes, hats, etc.
