Arrest warrant

A 28-year-old female, of Easton, was picked up on an arrest warrant from the Salisbury Township Police Department Dec. 6, 2022, according to Salisbury police. The female was transported to Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

Illegally operating a motor vehicle

A 30-year-old male, of Allentown, was charged Dec. 11, 2022, with allegedly illegally operating a motor vehicle not equipped with an ignition interlock following a traffic stop on the ramp to Interstate 78 West, according to Salisbury police.

Theft

Pennsylvania state vehicle inspection stickers were taken from an automotive dealership located in the 3300 block of Lehigh Street, according to Salisbury police. This incident was reported Dec. 13, 2022 and remains under investigation.

Packages valued at $300 were removed from a porch in the 1400 block of Garden Avenue, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Dec. 10, 2022 and remains under investigation.

A bag containing recently purchased items was taken from South Mall, 3300 Lehigh Street, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Dec. 16, 2022 and was detailed as follows: a person made purchases at a mall store, then placed the bag containing the purchases at a different location. The bag was gone when he went to leave, according to Salisbury police.

Truancy

A 14-year-old-female was charged Dec. 16, 2022, with juvenile compulsory school attendance following an incident at Salisbury Township Middle School, 3301 Devonshire Road, according to Salisbury police.

Identity theft

A resident of the 900 block of East Federal Street learned her cellphone was “hacked” and multiple attempts were made to fraudulently use her credit card, including one successful transaction for $232, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Dec. 14, 2022 and remains under investigation.

Scam attempt

A resident of the 800 block of South Hays Street was asked to send cash that was “accidentally” deposited into his bank account to an address in Hong Kong, according to Salisbury police. The resident did not transfer or release any cash. The incident was reported Dec. 12, 2022.

Criminal mischief

A resident of the 1400 block of East Susquehanna Street discovered several dents on the hood of his vehicle and damage to the front door and window of the residence, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Dec. 15, 2022.

A vehicle was damaged while parked at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest campus, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Dec. 7, 2022.
