State police blotter in Salisbury

Accidents

No one was badly hurt when two trucks and a construction vehicle collided in an accident near mile marker 55.6 along Interstate 78 in Salisbury Township 5:28 p.m. Nov. 21, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The vehicles, described as a 2019 Kenworth construction vehicle, a 2004 Peterbilt 379 and a Kenworth T680, were all traveling eastbound in the center of three lanes of travel. The trucks began to slow for stopped traffic. The construction vehicle allegedly struck one truck causing it to strike the second truck. The drivers of both trucks indicated possible injuries; however, no one was transported from the scene by ambulance, according to the news release from state police. Yocum Towing and Recovery also responded.

A South Bound Brook, N.J., motorist was hurt when two commercial vehicles collided on Interstate 78, Salisbury Township, 4:43 a.m. Oct. 29, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The vehicles, described by authorities as an International Harvester 4000 Series and a Freightliner FRT, crashed near Interstate 78 East mile marker 56. The injured motorist was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, for evaluation. Cetronia Ambulance Corps also responded. The second motorist, also of New Jersey, was not hurt.

DUI

A 54-year-old male, of Emmaus, allegedly was driving under the influence near the intersection of West Emaus Avenue and 33rd Street SW, Salisbury Township, 1:40 a.m. Nov. 11, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
